Technology plays a crucial part in different facets of the environment. As human beings demand more from the environment, natural resources are exploited at a much higher rate than their ability to regenerate.
As Keith says, technology, and not only the new technology is integral when it comes to exploiting and conserving natural resources. Notably, the indigenous knowledge should not be overlooked as it has been in existence for ages and is still fundamental in so many ways.
