2021 Nairobi Earth Optimism Virtual Summit
2021 Nairobi Earth Optimism Virtual Summit is upcoming from 29th March to 4th April 2021 under the theme Restoration: – that is, restoration of green spaces and wetlands, our food systems, marine environments, hope in communities, populations, and different species of wildlife and most importantly, self-restoration.
This year’s theme is synonymous with the UN’s Decade of restoration and Earth Day’s Restoration.
The virtual summit is fundamental in conservation and climate spaces. It provides an avenue for individuals, groups, and organizations to deliberate on pressing environmental challenges, submit solutions, and highlight and celebrate success stories.
Stories of hope linked to nature motivate, inspire, and trigger a need to engage in conservation. Earth Optimism tries to shift focus from gloom surrounding environmental degradation by shining light on positive nature stories, opportunities and prompting many to take action in conservation.
Centered on the themes of habitat and species restoration, climate action, sustainable food systems and communities, research, and innovation, Nairobi Earth Optimism collaborates with like-minded organizations and individuals to foster a habitable environment favourable for present and future generations.
Thus, the virtual summit will compose incredible speakers from diverse organizations, experts in the field of environment and climate change, and community change agents.
