After two months of online sensitization, the dimming single-use plastics challenge allows young people to share how they address waste management, primarily single-use plastics. This is an ongoing initiative seeking to sensitize the public on the importance of protecting and conserving our protected areas by adequately managing their wastes while in those areas. The initiative targets visitors to the Nairobi National Park, where a one-on-one sensitization is carried.
It is implemented in Partnership with 3Es Experience and the Kenya Wildlife Service with the help of volunteers.
The activities are active during weekends and public holidays.

UNFCC’s regional climate weeks are already rolling. The Africa Climate Week 2020, which was to take place from 9th to 13th March, has been postponed to 20-24 April 2020 in Kampala Uganda.
