Enviro Wild Initiative in Collaboration with ASNET, will host an ecosystem restoration activity on 9th May 2021 targeting the removal of Parthenium hysterophorus at Silole Sanctuary, bordering the Nairobi National Park.
Parthenium hysterophorus is an invasive weed that has colonized several areas in and out of the Nairobi National Park.
The main aim is to reduce the species seed load.
