We celebrated International Biodiversity day 2021 alongside students, youth groups, and Equity Bank Kenya at Imara Daima railway Station by planting 600 fruit trees (mangos and avocados) at the land surrounding the station.
This marked the beginning of a tree-planting initiative supported by Equity bank Kenya to plant about 23,000 tree seedlings in various areas within Nairobi Metropolitan and is driven by youth-led groups such as Enviro Wild Initiative, Kenya Biodiversity Youth Network, Team Environment Kenya, Youth for our Planet Kenya and Kenya University Students Association.
