Climate Action- Growing Bamboo, Climate Strikes and Regional Collaboration
Climate strikes have gained a lot of considerations- significant. To awaken the slow-paced governments, citizens, private and civil society, climate and conservation activists have had to hit the streets, go online and organize evens to caution humanity against the dangers of not taking action on climate change.
As a result, the youth have been vocal, this time, Enviro Wild’s Climate Action Discussion Series held an online discussion with Solomon O’jay from Uganda who is a young environmentalist and is involved in Bamboo growing (Eco Bamboo International) and sensitizing the community on the importance of climate action.
He shares his motivation for being a champion for environmental conservation and climate action.
TAKE AWAY: Climate strikes are not enough; you have to grow trees (in his case bamboo) and collaborate with others to strengthen the climate voices
